Baker Peanutos

First attempt to bake a maderia cake (kind of like pound cake). That big patch of yellow you see in the photo appeared after I cut away the chao tar portion of the cake hahaha. :p

Pls do not be alarmed, I assure you it's edible :)

The recipe calls for only 125g of butter so i guess medaria cake is not so much of a butter cake.

I'm looking for butter cake recipe. Do share with me if you have any tested and proven recipe for butter cake. Thanks!

New beginning

I've found a new job! Praise God and thank God for his blessings! :D:D

Thank God

Just went for an interview at this telco company. I just wanna thank God for the opportunity. I was almost gg to cry when I was in the cab cos I was gg to be late! Couldn't get a cab! Panic attack. Finally hop onto a cab at 4.15pm interview suppose to be at 4.30pm (*screams*) tried calling the HR personnel but unable to! Her line is busy all the time. I emailed her using my phone n thank God she replied! Phew. Finally meet the director. She does not sound like a local. But can see she's a diplomatic n sincere person. I roughly know that my experiences and knowledge does not impress her but she gave me chances and ask questions like why should she hire me etc. While she paused to take a look at my certificates I was praying hard for the holy spirit to let her find favor in me. Hoping that there's still some hope. Heh. After she has looked through my stack of documents, she honestly told me what kind of person she is looking for and gave me another chance to "sell" myself to her. I was pretty sure given my current skills and capabilities I am not up to the test. She's understanding and Told me that she she sees that I have a good and positive attitude :) she'll keep my profile and see if in the nx frw months whether there are suitable positions. Told me not to lose hope an that the door is not yet closed. Really thank God that she finds favor in me. I tot that by being late all hope is lost ored. I am once again reminded of the faithfulness of God. Really pray that there will be opportunity to work there to learn more and gain experience an knowledge.
